Karen Hartshorne BA(Hons) - Vice Chair

Karen has worked in the education sector for a number of years holding a first class honours degree in Educational Management. She currently works for Tykes Teaching School Alliance as Programme Development Manager and is responsible for NQT induction amongst other things.

 

Phil Bagley

Phil has a background in Finance and Banking currently working as a bank manager for RBS, therefore brings a strength in finance.

 

Pete Steadman  MSc,  Chartered MCIPD - Chair of Trustees

Pete has 20 years extensive experience working at a strategic level within the Education Sector, with specific responsibility for the design, delivery and commissioning of all professional development programmes within the Education Department and across schools. Pete's experience also includes Headteacher and school leadership development, performance management, talent management and succession planning. He has also supported organisational development and change management strategies as a national consultant.

Pete continues to support several schools in Rotherham with governance and leadership as a private consultant.

 

Helen Harrison

Helen has had substantial experience in school leadership, including three successful headships and advisory positions across South Yorkshire. She is currently Chief Executive Officer of The Rose Learning Trust, a trust of seven schools across Doncaster and North Lincolnshire. As one of the founding headteachers of the trust, Helen has been able to apply her skills as both coach and mentor to identify and share outstanding practice in order to facilitate impactful system wide improvements and build effective partnerships with other schools and partner organisiations.
