Data Protection and GDPR
The UK GDPR is based on data protection principles that the trust and our academies must comply with. The principles say that personal data must be:
The trust will ensure that all personal data collected about staff, pupils, parents, governors, visitors and other individuals is collected, stored and processed in accordance with UK data protection law.
The trust has a designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), who is helping to guide the schools to ensure full compliance with GDPR. The DPO can be contacted with any queries using the following email address or in writing to any of our schools:
